36 Hours of thinking about Egypt. Visited my Jumbo friends! They have Jumbo-sized hearts and I have packed away a lot of Love! Will need it. Saying good-bye to Casey was hard as he headed off to his summer apartment with Jess - and I even have chance to see him AGAIN! but still the tears appeared. Luckily there was a house full of moms and dads who were happy to share my feelings and some "mommy water" and "daddy water" aka a glass of wine and a beer! Whew! So much support from all. A little amazement added in there too. I feel pretty sturdy after all that fun. Each of us is on a journey - I am not the only one!
I remind myself that distance is really only in your mind. Egypt is far but regardless of where we are literally, really we only have to wait a bit for the next time we are together again.
Here are some sweet lyrics that run through my mind.
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain
Well the night's forlorn
And the morning's born
And the morning shines
With the lights of love
And you'll miss sunrise
If you close your eyes
And that would break
My heart in two
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain
Baby's with me now
Since I showed her how
To lay
Her lilly
Hand in mine
Who would ill agree
She's a sight to see
A treasure for
The poor to find
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain
